Hooves of Hope maintains a small herd of 5 miniature therapy horses, with our smallest horse being only 26" tall, and our largest is 30" at the withers. We are also training a slightly larger horse to pull carriages. He is 31"tall at the end of his mane, which is called the withers and is a registered miniature horse. He will be available for parties and events for carriage rides, by fall, 2011, when he is 4 years old.
Our horses are all AMHA registered, miniature horses. AMHA stands for the American Miniature Horse Association. Each and every horse is worked with for many hours in the ring, on the lead, with volunteers and in hand. Our horses are all small, well-mannered, well-trained, and have been kept up completely with full veterinary care, including current negative coggins reports, and come with health certificates on site at each visit.
