One Of Our VOLUNTEERS
Dianne Hargraves with Shadowbrook at the Kruze Village Retirement Ctr.
You can make a tremendous difference in the lives of many, many people with the generous contribution of your time and help, or through donations. Your personal rewards and joy are endless, the fellowship and fun incredible, and your contribution to the well-being of others is very, very real and you can make a discernable impact in the lives of those that we visit. We have seen it and experienced the difference our horses make when they walk into the alzheimer's units, the veterans' rehab centers, the senior centers and the children's homes and events that we go to. The smiles are endless and the improvement in patients' health and well-being is documented.
Our volunteers will all have the opportunity to groom the horses and lead them on halter, help them get ready for visits by washing, brushing, clipping, and also by helping in training.. To Volunteer or learn more about volunteering, please visit our Volunteer Page.

Meet Hooves Of Hope volunteer George Schwalm of Sugar Land, Texas. Much as founder Anne Rule did, George discovered miniature horses and was immediately drawn to their spirituality and attractiveness. Landing an apprentice position at a miniature horse farm in Houston, George began honing his skills at working with these beautiful creations of God, and after a year of instruction in equine management it was only natural for George, a devout Christian, to team up with Anne offering his experience to the Hooves Of Hope Foundation. Through the opportunities provided by sharing these unique animals with others, George has found another avenue in his ministry of proclaiming the redeeming message of God's love for all.
